Small business capital access
I work to connect Philadelphia's small businesses with fair, responsible financing. Too many strong entrepreneurs are held back not by their ideas but by a system that was never built for them.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Philadelphia civic leader and advocate for small business capital access in immigrant and Latino communities.
Working to expand access to capital for small businesses and entrepreneurs in Philadelphia's underserved neighborhoods.

About
I have spent my career working at the intersection of capital, community, and opportunity. As a loan officer at Impact Loan Fund and an underwriter at True Access Capital, I originate and underwrite small business loans every day for entrepreneurs across Philadelphia and the region, with a focus on the immigrant and Latino communities that have too often been left out of the financial mainstream.
My civic work grows from the same conviction. As founder of PHL Tech PAC, I advocate for policy that helps Philadelphia's small businesses and innovators thrive, including a dedicated startup and innovation office inside city government. As board chair of SARCC and through years of community organizing, writing, and convening, I have worked to bring underheard voices into the rooms where decisions get made.
I believe access to capital is a civic issue. When a neighborhood entrepreneur can get a fair loan, a family builds wealth, a block gets stronger, and the city grows. That is the work.
“Access to capital is not just a financial question. It is a question of who gets to build a future in this city.”
What I work on
01
I work to connect Philadelphia's small businesses with fair, responsible financing. Too many strong entrepreneurs are held back not by their ideas but by a system that was never built for them.
02
I am bilingual and rooted in Philadelphia's Latino and immigrant business community. I advocate for the resources, language access, and representation these entrepreneurs deserve.
03
Philadelphia has the talent and energy to be a top tier city for founders. I push for policy that helps innovative companies start, stay, and grow here.
04
I believe public dialogue should include the people most affected by the decisions being made. I work to convene, listen, and bring community voices to the table.
Civic Leadership
Leadership across Philadelphia's civic, entrepreneurial, and community development institutions, grounded in daily, hands-on work in small business lending and capital access.
I serve as treasurer of PHL Tech PAC, a political action committee giving Philadelphia's startup and small business community a voice in city policy. The PAC's first major campaign called on City Hall to create Venture Philadelphia, a dedicated innovation office inside the Commerce Department to help founders start, stay, and grow in the city. As treasurer, I oversee the organization's financial stewardship, governance, and federal reporting obligations.
I serve as chair of the board, providing governance, strategic direction, and fiduciary oversight in service of the community SARCC represents. The role centers on stewardship, accountability, and keeping the organization focused on the people it exists to serve.
I serve as chief financial officer of Founders Alley, a Philadelphia startup conference built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. The work brings together capital, creativity, and community, with an intentional focus on making entrepreneurial space accessible to people too often left out of traditional networks.
I originate small business loans as a loan officer at Impact Loan Fund and underwrite as an underwriter at True Access Capital, two community development financial institutions serving Philadelphia and the region. This work helps entrepreneurs access capital when traditional banks will not, including founders with limited credit history or collateral. It is the ground level work behind my advocacy, seeing every day where the financing system works and where it leaves people out.
In the community
Convening entrepreneurs, partners, and neighbors across Philadelphia.
