1. Who we are

This website is operated by Amaury Abreu, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Amaury Abreu is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

If you have any privacy question or request, contact us by email at hello@amauryabreu.org. We answer every request personally.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run this site and respond to you. The categories are:

• Contact form details. When you submit a form on this site, we receive the name, email address, and phone number you enter, along with anything you choose to tell us in your message.
• Newsletter signups. When you join the email newsletter, we receive your name, email address, and phone number if you share one. The newsletter is sent through Constant Contact, which stores subscriber details on our behalf.
• Lead form submissions. When you respond to one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address, and phone number, and shares them with us so we can follow up.
• Analytics, cookies, and advertising data. Like most websites, we measure visits and useful actions using Google Ads and Meta. Depending on your cookie choice, this can include cookie identifiers, the pages you view, the address of your request, and your browser details. Section 7 explains cookies in full.
• Bookings and payments. When you book a session, we receive your name, email address, and scheduling details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details directly. This site never sees your card number.
• Consent records. When you make a cookie choice, we store that choice together with the exact notice wording you were shown, when you made it, and the page you were on, so we can prove what you agreed to.

3. Why we use your information, and our legal bases

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent. We use advertising cookies and share identifiers with Google Ads and Meta for measurement and matching only when you accept. You can withdraw consent at any time with the cookie settings at the bottom of any page, and withdrawing it stops further sharing right away.
• Contract. When you book a session, subscribe to a paid service, or ask us to deliver work, we use your contact details to schedule, deliver, and confirm what you asked for.
• Legitimate interests. We keep basic records of enquiries and measure how the site is used so we can respond properly, keep the site secure, improve our content, and understand which materials are useful. We balance these interests against your rights and keep the data involved to a minimum.
• Legal obligation. We keep records where tax, accounting, or other laws require it.

In plain terms: we use your information to answer you, deliver what you signed up for, send the newsletter you requested, run the site, and measure whether our advertising works. We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run this site, and only for the purposes above:

• Constant Contact stores newsletter subscriber details and sends the newsletter on our behalf.
• Meta (Facebook) delivers lead forms, provides advertising measurement, and receives limited event data as described in Section 7. If you accept cookies and enter your email address or phone number in a form, a scrambled one way version of those values is shared with Meta so a signup can be matched to the ad that brought you here. The plain text is never sent.
• Google Ads provides advertising measurement. With your permission, Google sets cookies so that actions on this site can be counted as ad results.
• Stripe processes payments for bookings and services. Stripe receives your payment details directly and handles them under its own privacy terms.
• Hosting and database providers store form submissions, consent records, and account data needed to operate the site, including the analysis tool for commercial real estate deals, where property and financial details you submit are stored with your account so you can revisit your saved results.

We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold it, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law. We also do not send your information to anyone else except when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect the site.

Some of the providers above may process information outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Union standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep information

• Newsletter subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe.
• Enquiries and form submissions are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up and keep a record of the work.
• Cookie choices and consent records are kept for up to 24 months from your last visit, then refreshed the next time you choose.
• Account and saved deal data for the analysis tool is kept for as long as your account exists, so you can revisit your saved results. You can request deletion at any time.
• Payment and booking records are kept for the period tax and accounting rules require.

When information is no longer needed for one of the purposes above, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

6. Your rights

You have real rights over your information, and exercising them is simple. You can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
• Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
• Delete your information, subject to records we must keep for legal reasons.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by email.
• Withdraw consent for advertising cookies at any time with the cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask us to limit how we use your information.
• Take your data with you in a portable, machine readable format where the law provides it.

If you are in California, you additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to correct and delete it, and the right not to receive unequal treatment for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.

How to exercise your rights: email hello@amauryabreu.org with what you would like us to do. We respond within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If you are in the European Economic Area and are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them in the following ways:

• Essential cookies. A small number of cookies and local entries keep the site working, such as remembering your cookie choice and keeping signed in visitors authenticated where relevant.
• Advertising and measurement cookies. With your permission, Google Ads and Meta set cookies so we can count visits, bookings, reviews, and newsletter signups as advertising results, and improve how our ads are targeted. If you reject, the ad tags still load, but they send only limited cookieless signals, and no advertising cookies are set.
• Ad matching. Visitors who explicitly accept advertising cookies, and only those visitors, have a scrambled one way version of the email address and phone number they enter in a form shared with Meta, together with cookie identifiers, the request address, and browser details, so a signup can be matched to the ad that brought them here. The plain text of those values never leaves the site.

When you first visit from a region that requires consent, a banner asks you to accept or reject before advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings at the bottom of any page, and your browser also lets you block or delete cookies. You can opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Google explains how it handles data at business.safety.google/privacy, and Meta explains its handling at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

8. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from anyone under the age where their local law requires a parent's permission. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email hello@amauryabreu.org and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will also say so on the site or by email before it takes effect, and we will ask for consent again where the law requires it.
